     George Arthur Pomeroy Vernon was the son of John Edward Vernon.1 He married Mildred Blanche Bloomfield Trench, daughter of Henry Bloomfield Trench and Jessie Maria Rawlins, on 2 June 1897.1 He died on 9 January 1918.1
     George Arthur Pomeroy Vernon graduated with the degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.).1

     Captain John Hanham was born on 14 January 1823. He was the son of Reverend Sir James Hanham, 7th Bt. and Eliza Dean Patey. He married Amy Ursula Copland, daughter of Alexander Copland, on 11 August 1853. He died on 16 September 1861 at age 38 at Preston, Devon, England, shot by a soldier of the 32nd Regiment and died from the wound.
     He distinguished himself in the Sutlej campaign.
