     John Baptist Joseph Dormer, 12th Baron Dormer of Wyng was born on 22 May 1830.1 He was the son of Joseph Thaddeus Dormer, 11th Baron Dormer of Wyng and Elizabeth Anne Tichborne.1 He married, firstly, Louisa Frances Mary King-Tenison, daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward King-Tenison and Lady Louisa Mary Anne Anson, on 14 June 1866.1 He married, secondly, Leonie Fortamps on 11 February 1871.1 He married, thirdly, Emily Constance Campbell Bald, daughter of John Bald, on 8 January 1885.1 He died on 22 December 1900 at age 70.1
     John Baptist Joseph Dormer, 12th Baron Dormer of Wyng fought in the Crimean War.1 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Royal Horse Guards, Grenadier Guards and 74th Foot.1 He succeeded to the title of 12th Baron Dormer of Wyng, co. Buckingham [E., 1615] on 5 July 1871.1 He succeeded to the title of 12th Baronet Dormer, of Wyng, co. Buckingham [E., 1615] on 5 July 1871.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Warwickshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Warwickshire.1

     From before 1871, her married name became de Bueren.1 Her married name became Dormer. As a result of her marriage, Leonie Fortamps was styled as Baroness Dormer of Wyng on 5 July 1871.
