     Joseph Thaddeus Dormer, 11th Baron Dormer of Wyng was born on 1 June 1790.1 He was the son of General Hon. John Dormer and Elizabeth Buttler.1 He married Elizabeth Anne Tichborne, daughter of Sir Henry Joseph Tichbourne, 8th Bt. and Anne Burke, on 5 May 1829.1 He died on 5 July 1871 at age 81.1
     Joseph Thaddeus Dormer, 11th Baron Dormer of Wyng gained the rank of officer in the service of the Austrian Army.2 He succeeded to the title of 11th Baronet Dormer, of Wyng, co. Buckingham [E., 1615] on 9 December 1826.1 He succeeded to the title of 11th Baron Dormer of Wyng, co. Buckingham [E., 1615] on 9 December 1826.1

     Elizabeth Anne Tichborne was also known as Eliza Anne. As a result of her marriage, Elizabeth Anne Tichborne was styled as Baroness Dormer of Wyng on 5 May 1829. From 5 May 1829, her married name became Dormer.
