John Bowen was the son of John Bowen and Mary Nicholls.2 He married, firstly, Deborah Hyde, daughter of Arthur Hyde, in 1691.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Stephens, daughter of Richard Stephens, in 1695.1 He died in 1720.1
