     Katharina Sophie von der Pfalz was born on 16 July 1594 at Heidelberg, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.1 She was the daughter of Friedrich IV Kurfürst von der Pfalz and Louise Juliana van Oranje-Nassau.1 She married Johann II Pfalzgraf von Zweibrücken, son of Johann I Pfalzgraf von Zweibrücken and Magdalena von Kleve, in 1612.1 She died on 28 June 1626 at age 31 at Köln an der Spree, Germany.1
