     Colonel John Bagwell was born in 1751.1 He is the son of William Bagwell and Jane Harper.1 He married Mary Hare, daughter of Richard Hare, in 1774.1 He died in 1816.1
     Colonel John Bagwell held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Tipperary.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Militia.1 He built Marlfield, Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland, as the family seat.1
