     Air-Vice Marshal Stanley James Goble was decorated with the award of Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.).1 He gained the rank of Air Vice Marshal in the service of the Royal Australian Air Force.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1
