Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse was born on 15 October 1881.1 He was the son of Henry Ernest Wodehouse and Eleanor Deane.2 He married Ethel (?) on 30 September 1914.1 He died in 1975, without issue.1
Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse was educated at Dulwich College, Dulwich, London, England.1 He was with Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank.1 He was a dramatist and author of over 100 books, notably the Jeeves/Wooster and Blandings Castle series.1 He was a broadcaster.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1939.1 He was naturalized as a U.S. citizen in 1955.1 He was invested as a Knight in 1975.1

Cook, daughter of William Wallace Cook, on 8 August 1925.1 He married, secondly, Winifred Baker Brown, daughter of Brig.-Gen. William Baker Brown, on 5 February 1934.1 He died on 20 May 1940 at age 47.1
