     Lt.-Col. Lenox Arthur Dutton Naper was born on 19 December 1877.1 He was the son of William Dutton Naper.1 He married Laura Daphne Theodora Annesley, daughter of Major Oliver Francis Theodore Annesley and Isabel Hanbury, on 20 April 1912.2 He died on 8 October 1965 at age 87.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.2 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).2

     Nigel William Ivo Naper was born on 12 August 1922.1 He is the son of Lt.-Col. Lenox Arthur Dutton Naper and Laura Daphne Theodora Annesley.1,2 He married Carola Elisabeth Darley, daughter of Lt.-Col. Denis George Farr Darley, on 3 November 1945.3 He died on 28 April 1978 at age 55.3
     He was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.3 He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Rifle Brigade.3 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1944.3

     Colonel Thomas Robert Hay Drummond-Hay was born on 22 November 1821.1 He was the son of Edward William Auriol Drummond-Hay and Louisa Margaret Thomson.2 He married, firstly, Louisa Thomson, daughter of Ringler Thomson, on 3 November 1853.1 He married, secondly, Theresa Anne Augusta Duncombe, daughter of Francis Harold Duncombe, on 17 December 1861.2 He died on 24 October 1883 at age 61.2
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 42nd and 78th Highlanders.1

     Louisa Thomson was the daughter of Ringler Thomson.2 She married Colonel Thomas Robert Hay Drummond-Hay, son of Edward William Auriol Drummond-Hay and Louisa Margaret Thomson, on 3 November 1853.1 She died on 8 April 1857.1
      From 3 November 1853, her married name became Drummond-Hay.
