     Colonel Thomas Robert Hay Drummond-Hay was born on 22 November 1821.1 He was the son of Edward William Auriol Drummond-Hay and Louisa Margaret Thomson.2 He married, firstly, Louisa Thomson, daughter of Ringler Thomson, on 3 November 1853.1 He married, secondly, Theresa Anne Augusta Duncombe, daughter of Francis Harold Duncombe, on 17 December 1861.3 He died on 24 October 1883 at age 61.3
     Colonel Thomas Robert Hay Drummond-Hay gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 42nd and 78th Highlanders.1
