     Roland Drummond-Hay was born on 17 October 1869.1 He was the son of Colonel Thomas Robert Hay Drummond-Hay and Theresa Anne Augusta Duncombe.2 He married Helen Kate Binney, daughter of Charles Hibbert Binney, on 16 February 1904.1 He died on 2 January 1923 at age 53.1
