     Captain Walter Griffith Booth was born in 1750.1 He was the son of Ralph Griffith and Mary Everard.1 He died on 21 March 1810, without issue.1
     He was given the name of Walter Griffith at birth.1 He was Lord of the manor of Twemlow, Cheshire.1 In 1792 his name was legally changed to Walter Griffith Booth on succeedign to his uncle.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
