     Captain John Chetwood was born on 19 April 1779.1 He was the son of Reverend John Chetwode and Elizabeth Hamilton.1 He married Eliza Patton, daughter of Colonel Robert Patton, on 21 September 1803.1 He died circa March 1805.1 He was buried on 5 April 1805.1
     Captain John Chetwood gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 73rd Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 33rd Regiment.1

     Constantia Elizabeth Chetwood was baptised on 28 August 1804.1 She was the daughter of Captain John Chetwood and Eliza Patton.1 She married Peter Freeland Aiken on 2 April 1830.1 She died on 10 April 1892 at age 87.1
     From 2 April 1830, her married name became Aiken.1 On 19 December 1885 her name was legally changed to Constantia Elizabeth Chetwood-Aiken by Royal Licence.1
