Mary Bold-Hoghton was born on 7 June 1825.1 She was the daughter of Sir Henry Bold-Hoghton, 8th Bt. and Dorothea Bold.2 She married Colonel John Ireland Blackburne, son of John Ireland Blackburne, on 12 November 1846.1 She died on 30 April 1855 at age 29.1

Daniel de Hoghton was born on 13 August 1853.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Bold-Hoghton, 8th Bt. and Harriet Sarah Smith.2 He married Mary Jones, daughter of Henry Jones, in 1888.1 He died on 5 January 1929 at age 75.1
He was given the name of Daniel Bold-Hoghton at birth.3 On 4 January 1875 his name was legally changed to Daniel de Hoghton by Royal Licence.3 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.1 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.).1
He was given the name of Daniel Bold-Hoghton at birth.3 On 4 January 1875 his name was legally changed to Daniel de Hoghton by Royal Licence.3 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.1 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.).1
