     Frederic Henley, 4th Baron Henley of Chardstock was born on 17 April 1849.1 He was the son of Anthony Henley, 3rd Baron Henley of Chardstock and Julia Augusta Peel.2 He married Augusta Frederica Langham, daughter of Herbert Langham, on 20 October 1900.1 He died on 23 December 1923 at age 74.1
     Frederic Henley, 4th Baron Henley of Chardstock was with the Diplomatic Service between 1868 and 1873.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Northington of Watford, co. Northampton [U.K., 1885] on 27 November 1898.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Henley of Chardstock, co. Dorset [I., 1799] on 27 November 1898.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northamptonshire.1

     Augusta Frederica Langham was the daughter of Herbert Langham.2 She married Frederic Henley, 4th Baron Henley of Chardstock, son of Anthony Henley, 3rd Baron Henley of Chardstock and Julia Augusta Peel, on 20 October 1900.1 She died on 27 July 1905, without issue.1
     As a result of her marriage, Augusta Frederica Langham was styled as Baroness Henley of Chardstock on 20 October 1900. From 20 October 1900, her married name became Henley.
