     Lady Ellis FitzGerald was the daughter of Gerald FitzGerald, 9th Earl of Kildare and Elizabeth Zouche.1 She married James Fleming, 9th Lord Slane, son of Christopher Fleming, 8th Lord Slane and Lady Ellis FitzGerald, before 8 July 1528.1 She died, without issue.1
     From before 8 July 1528, her married name became Fleming.1

     Hugh O'Donnell, Baron Donegall was born circa 1 October 1606.1 He was the son of Robert O'Donnell, 1st Earl of Tyrconnell and Lady Bridget FitzGerald.1 He died circa 1 July 1642, at sea, in a naval battle against the French of Barcelona.1
     In September 1607 they left Ireland, in the 'Flight of the Earls.1' He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Regiment of Irishmen, in the service of Spain in the Low Countries.1
