     Lady Mary Elizabeth Margaret Douglas-Home was born on 12 November 1871.1 She was the daughter of Charles Alexander Douglas-Home, 12th Earl of Home and Maria Grey.1 She married Captain Richard Charles Meade, Lord Gillford, son of Admiral Richard James Meade, 4th Earl of Clanwilliam and Elizabeth Henrietta Kennedy, on 5 September 1895 at Douglas Castle, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 She died on 21 April 1951 at age 79.2
      Her married name became Meade.

     Sir Philip Dundas, 4th Bt. was born on 8 November 1899.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Herbert Philip Dundas of Arniston, 3rd Bt. and Lady Beatrix Douglas-Home.1 He married Jean Marian Hood, daughter of James Archibald Hood, on 25 June 1936.1 He died on 23 February 1952 at age 52.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the The Black Watch.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Dundas, of Arniston, co. Midlothian [U.K., 1898] on 5 February 1930.1 He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.1
