     Major Bernard Francis Vernon-Harcourt was born on 23 December 1877. He was the son of Augustus George Vernon-Harcourt and Hon. Rachel Mary Bruce. He married Irene Margaret Micholls, daughter of Sydney Micholls, on 23 April 1912. He married Elizabeth (?) on 11 June 1935. He died on 19 May 1959 at age 81.

     Irene Margaret Micholls was the daughter of Sydney Micholls. She married Major Bernard Francis Vernon-Harcourt, son of Augustus George Vernon-Harcourt and Hon. Rachel Mary Bruce, on 23 April 1912. She died before 1935.
     Her married name became Vernon-Harcourt.
