     Sir John Joseph FitzGerald, 2nd Bt. was born on 20 February 1876.1 He was the son of Sir Edward FitzGerald, 1st Bt. and Johanna Anne O'Donoghue.2 He married Mary Thomasine Burke, daughter of John Burke, on 26 April 1911.1 He died in 1957.1
     Sir John Joseph FitzGerald, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet FitzGerald, of Geraldine Place, Cork [U.K., 1903] on 22 June 1927.1
