     Hon. Harry de Vere Pery was born on 2 June 1851.1 He was the son of William Henry Tennison Pery, 2nd Earl of Limerick and Margaret Jane Horsley.2 He married Harriette Knox, daughter of Robert Knox, on 10 December 1874.1 He died on 1 September 1935 at age 84.1
     Hon. Harry de Vere Pery gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Ashanti War between 1873 and 1880.1 He gained the rank of Captain and Instructor of Musketry in the service of the 5th Battalion, Royal Munster Fusiliers.1 He held the office of Resident Magistrate [Ireland] between 1885 and 1914.1

     From 5 August 1868, her married name became Hewitt. From 7 March 1874, her married name became Langworthy.1
