     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He was styled as Lord Glentworth between 1800 and 1834.¹

     William Henry Tennison Pery, 2nd Earl of Limerick was born on 19 October 1812.¹ He was the son of Henry Hartstonge Pery, Lord Glentworth and Annabella Edwards.² He married, firstly, Susanna Sheaffe, daughter of William Sheaffe, on 16 April 1838.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Jane Horsley, daughter of Captain Nicholas Horsley, on 6 April 1842 at Norfolk Island.³ He and Margaret Jane Horsley were separated in February 1863 by decree of the Court of Divorce.³ He died on 5 January 1866 at age 53.
