     Reverend Algernon Hardolph Harcourt-Vernon was born on 7 July 1858. He was the son of Reverend Evelyn Hardolph Harcourt-Vernon and Jane Catherine St. John-Mildmay. He married, firstly, Kate Maria Caudell in 1881 at London, England.1 He married, secondly, Georgiana Marguerite Martin, daughter of John Martin, on 5 May 1886. He died on 15 December 1936 at age 78.
     Reverend Algernon Hardolph Harcourt-Vernon was the Vicar at Clocolan, Orange Free State, South Africa.
