     Major George Howard Brush was born on 2 September 1865.1 He was the son of Augustus Edward Brush and Cornelia Angelina Brooke.2 He married May Florence Farrell, daughter of Edward Farrell, on 30 January 1897.1 He died on 30 November 1944 at age 79.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, with The King's Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War, with 36th (Ulster) Division, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He lived at Drumnabreeze, County Down, IrelandG.1
