     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1771 with a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.).1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) in 1787.1 He was the Curate at Monkstown, County Dublin, Ireland.1

Major Alexander Burrowes1

     Major Alexander Burrowes was born in 1773.1 He was the son of Reverend John Burrowes and Rachel Hodgson.2 He married Margaret Forth, daughter of Samuel Forth, on 12 February 1805.1 He died on 7 April 1834.1
      Major Alexander Burrowes also went by the nick-name of Alick.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was a practising Barrister-at-law in 1795.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Irish Artillery.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Longford in 1816.1 He lived at Ferensboro', Ranaghan, County Longford, Ireland.1
