     Reverend Patrick Fairbairn was born in 1805.2 He was the son of John Fairbairn and Jessie Johnston.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Pitcairn, daughter of Alexander Pitcairn, on 27 March 1833.1,2 He married, secondly, Mary Playfair, daughter of Patrick Playfair and Jean Playfair, on 23 July 1839.1,2 He married, thirdly, Frances Eliza Turnbull on 21 September 1861.1,2 He died on 6 August 1874.2

     Margaret Pitcairn was the daughter of Alexander Pitcairn.1 She married Reverend Patrick Fairbairn, son of John Fairbairn and Jessie Johnston, on 27 March 1833.2,1 She died on 4 May 1837.1
     Margaret Pitcairn was also known as Janet Pitcairn.2 From 27 March 1833, her married name became Fairbairn.2
