     Major John Wheeler Aggleton is the son of Hubert Poile Aggleton.2 He married Alice Mary Hamilton Byers, daughter of Mandale Byers and Maud Mary Hamilton Leslie, on 2 March 1955.1
     He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Fusiliers.1 He retired from the military, with the rank of Major, late of the Royal Corps of Transport.1 He lived in 1976 at 1 King's Road, Richmond, Surrey, EnglandG.1
