     David Brian Parkes is the son of Sydney Edward Parkes.2 He married Roberta Oonagh Petrie Carew, daughter of Major Robert John Henry Carew and Dorothy Petrie Townshend, on 28 June 1957.1 He and Roberta Oonagh Petrie Carew were divorced in 1969.3 He married Antoinette Mary Wolff, daughter of Major Jack Philip Albert Galvin Clifford Wolff and Mary Clifford, on 20 January 1970.4
     He adopted Patrick Edward Martin Parkes.3
