     Colonel Albert Thornton-Wodehouse was born on 5 February 1840.² He was the son of Admiral Hon. Edward Thornton-Wodehouse and Thornvilla Diana Thornton.¹ He married Elizabeth Katherine Edgcumbe, daughter of Hon. George Edgcumbe and Fanny Lucy Shelley, on 1 July 1874.² He died on 16 February 1914 at age 74, without issue.²
     Colonel Albert Thornton-Wodehouse gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.²

     Admiral Hon. Edward Thornton-Wodehouse was born on 5 June 1802.³ He was the son of John Wodehouse, 2nd Baron Wodehouse of Kimberley and Charlotte Laura Norris.² He married Thornvilla Diana Thornton, daughter of Colonel Thomas Thornton and Pamela Duins, on 10 November 1838.³ He died on 17 March 1874 at age 71.³
     Admiral Hon. Edward Thornton-Wodehouse was baptised with the name of Edward Wodehouse.³ He gained the rank of Admiral in the service of the Royal Navy.¹

     Thornvilla Diana Thornton was born illegitimately in 1801.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Thornton and Pamela Duins.¹ She married Admiral Hon. Edward Thornton-Wodehouse, son of John Wodehouse, 2nd Baron Wodehouse of Kimberley and Charlotte Laura Norris, on 10 November 1838.² She died on 13 March 1884.²
     Thornvilla Diana Thornton usually went by her middle name of Diana.¹ Her married name became Wodehouse.

     John Wodehouse, 2nd Baron Wodehouse of Kimberley was born on 11 January 1771.³ He was the son of John Wodehouse, 1st Baron Wodehouse of Kimberley and Sophia Berkeley.² He married Charlotte Laura Norris, daughter of John Norris and Charlotte Townshend, on 17 November 1796.³ He died on 29 May 1846 at age 75.³
     John Wodehouse, 2nd Baron Wodehouse of Kimberley held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Great Bedwyn between 1796 and 1802.³ He held the office of Vice-Admiral of the coast of Norfolk.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the East Norfolk Militia.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Marlborough between 1812 and 1826.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk between 1822 and 1846.¹ He held the office of High Steward of Norwich Cathedral.³ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Wodehouse of Kimberley, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1797] on 29 May 1834.¹ He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Wodehouse, of Kimberley, co. Norfolk [E., 1611] on 29 May 1834.³

     Charlotte Laura Norris was the daughter of John Norris and Charlotte Townshend.¹ She married John Wodehouse, 2nd Baron Wodehouse of Kimberley, son of John Wodehouse, 1st Baron Wodehouse of Kimberley and Sophia Berkeley, on 17 November 1796.² She died in June 1845.²
     Her married name became Wodehouse. As a result of her marriage, Charlotte Laura Norris was styled as Baroness Wodehouse of Kimberley on 29 May 1834.

     John Norris married Charlotte Townshend, daughter of Very Rev. Hon. Edward Townshend and Mary Price, on 12 May 1773.
     John Norris lived at Witton Park, Norfolk, England.¹ He lived at Witchingham, Norfolk, England.¹

     Charlotte Townshend was the daughter of Very Rev. Hon. Edward Townshend and Mary Price. She married, firstly, John Norris on 12 May 1773. She married, secondly, Thomas Farquier in 1779.
     From 12 May 1773, her married name became Norris. From 1779, her married name became Farquier.

     Very Rev. Hon. Edward Townshend was born on 25 October 1719. He was the son of Charles Townshend, 2nd Viscount Townshend of Raynham and Dorothy Walpole. He married Mary Price on 11 May 1747. He died on 27 January 1765 at age 45.
     Very Rev. Hon. Edward Townshend held the office of Dean of Norwich.

     Thomas Farquier married Charlotte Townshend, daughter of Very Rev. Hon. Edward Townshend and Mary Price, in 1779.

     Mary Price married Very Rev. Hon. Edward Townshend, son of Charles Townshend, 2nd Viscount Townshend of Raynham and Dorothy Walpole, on 11 May 1747. She died on 21 February 1816.
     Her married name became Townshend.
