Colonel Albert Thornton-Wodehouse was born on 5 February 1840.2 He was the son of Admiral Hon. Edward Thornton-Wodehouse and Thornvilla Diana Thornton.1 He married Elizabeth Katherine Edgcumbe, daughter of Hon. George Edgcumbe and Fanny Lucy Shelley, on 1 July 1874.2 He died on 16 February 1914 at age 74, without issue.2

Charlotte Laura Norris was the daughter of John Norris and Charlotte Townshend.1 She married John Wodehouse, 2nd Baron Wodehouse of Kimberley, son of John Wodehouse, 1st Baron Wodehouse of Kimberley and Sophia Berkeley, on 17 November 1796.2 She died in June 1845.2
