Edward Chevers, 1st and last Viscount Mount Leinster1

     Edward Chevers, 1st and last Viscount Mount Leinster was the son of John Chevers and Joan Sutton.2 He married Anne Sarsfield, daughter of Patrick Sarsfield.1 He died in 1709, abroad, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the Irish Army.1 He was created 1st Viscount Mount Leinster, co. Carlow [Ireland] on 23 August 1689.2 He was created 1st Baron Bannow, co. Wexford [Ireland] on 23 August 1689.2 He fought in the Battle of the Boyne in 1690, as Aide-de-Camp to King James II.1 Although he was included in the Articles of Limerick (principally engineered by his brother-in-law Lord Lucan), he relinquished the benefits of the capitulation and accompanied his sovereign into exile.1 On his death, his titles became extinct.2

     Hyacinth Chevers was the son of Andrew Chevers.2 He married Helen Power, daughter of John Power and Mary Power.2 He died between 28 July 1757 and 14 November 1758, without issue.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 14 November 1758.2
     He lived at Cregan, County Galway, IrelandG.1 His last will was dated 28 July 1757.2
