John Chevers was born in 1549.2 He was the son of Sir Christopher Chevers and Anne Plunkett.2,3 He married, firstly, Catherine Travers, daughter of Henry Travers.1 He died on 30 April 1599.1
Katherine, dau and co-heiress of Henry Trevers, of Monkstown, County Dublin, and by her had issue.2 He lived at Macetown, County Meath, Ireland.1
