     Robert Browne-Clayton was the son of Robert Browne and Eleanor Morres.2 He married Henrietta Clayton on 1 December 1803.1 He died on 10 March 1845, issue (with a dau).1
     Robert Browne-Clayton was Lieutenant-General in the Army.1 On 6 April 1829 assumed addl surname and arms of CLAYTON by R Licence.1

     Henrietta Clayton married Robert Browne-Clayton, son of Robert Browne and Eleanor Morres, on 1 December 1803.1 She died on 8 September 1858.1
     Lanes.1 And sister of Major Sir Robert Clayton.1 She lived Adlington.1 Only dau and eventual heiress of Sir Richard Clayton.1 From 1 December 1803, her married name became Browne.
