Colonel Richard Parry Crawley was the son of Reverend William Parry Crawley.2 He married Alice Vida Mary Cochrane, daughter of Reverend David Crawford Cochrane and Jane Elizabeth Tomlinson, in September 1904.1 He died on 1 February 1933.1
He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.).1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He was invested as a Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.).1 He had one son and one daughter.1
