     Maj.-Gen. Alan Colquhoun Duff was born on 11 November 1896.1 He is the son of James Duff Dunlop Duff and Laura Eleanor Lenox-Conyngham.1 He married Diana Frances Crawley, daughter of Colonel Richard Parry Crawley, on 14 February 1935.1
     Maj.-Gen.
