Dixie Coddington1

     Dixie Coddington was the son of Nicholas Coddington and Mary Tenison.2 He married Catherine Burgh, daughter of Thomas Burgh and Anne Downes, in 1754.1 He died in 1794.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Meath in 1754.1 He gained the rank of in 1760 in the service of the 9th Dragoons.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dunleer, County Louth.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 9th Dragoons.1 He lived at Oldbridge, County Meath, Ireland.1 He lived at Tankardstown, County Meath, Ireland.1 He had seven daughters, who all died in infancy.1

Brig.-Gen. Christopher Robert Ingham Brooke1

     Brig.-Gen. Christopher Robert Ingham Brooke was born on 4 July 1869.2 He was the son of Venerable Joshua Ingham Brooke.1 He married Irene Spencer Coddington, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Blaney Coddington and Eleanor Bertha Bloxsome, on 5 October 1899.1 He died on 27 January 1948 at age 78.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.).1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the service of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches five times.2 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915.1 He held the office of Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1917.1

     Nicholas Coddington was born in 1765.2 He was the son of Henry Coddington and Elizabeth Blacker.2 He married Laetitia Barry, daughter of Gaynor Barry, on 13 July 1793.2 He died on 31 August 1837.2
     He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dunleer in 1795.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Louth in 1795.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Meath in 1798.2 He lived at Oldbridge, County Meath, Ireland.2
