     Matthew de Sausmarez was Seigneur of Sausmarez between 1774 and 1820.1

     Thomas Saumarez is the son of John Sausmarez and Martha Le Marchant.2 He married, secondly, Catherine de Havilland, daughter of Sir Peter de Havilland.3 He married, firstly, Martha Dobrée, daughter of Isaac Dobrée, on 20 October 1780.1
     Thomas Saumarez held the office of Attorney-General [Guernsey] in 1820.1 He was Seigneur of Sausmarez between 1820 and 1837.1 He had 23 other children.3
