     Editha Jane Truell is the daughter of Robert Holt Truell.1 She married, firstly, Francis Synge, son of John Synge and Isabella Hamilton, on 7 November 1861.1 She married, secondly, Major Theodore Webber-Gardiner on 20 November 1879.1
     From 7 November 1861, her married name became Synge.1 From 20 November 1879, her married name became Webber-Gardiner.1
