     Mary Helena Welsh was the daughter of Robert Welsh.2 She married Sir Edward Synge, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Robert Synge, 1st Bt. and Margaret Wolfe, on 19 January 1809.1 She died on 20 September 1857.1
     From 19 January 1809, her married name became Synge.

     Sir Edward Synge, 3rd Bt. was born on 19 November 1809.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Synge, 2nd Bt. and Mary Helena Welsh.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Jemima Saunders, daughter of Owen Saunders, on 16 February 1836.1 He married, secondly, Anne Irwin, daughter of Henry Irwin, on 18 August 1846.1 He died in 1884,, having by her had:.1
     He had two other daughters.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Synge, of Kiltrough [U.K., 1801] on 22 July 1843.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Cork in 1844.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cork.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Cork.1

     Margaret Jemima Saunders was the daughter of Owen Saunders.2 She married Sir Edward Synge, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Edward Synge, 2nd Bt. and Mary Helena Welsh, on 16 February 1836.1 She died on 14 November 1845.1
     From 16 February 1836, her married name became Synge. She lived at Largay, County Cavan, Ireland.1
