Thomas Walter Brand, 3rd Viscount Hampden of Glynde and Lady Katharine Mary Montagu Douglas Scott.1 He married Hon. Imogen Alice Rhys, daughter of Walter FitzUryan Rhys, 7th Baron Dynevor and Lady Margaret Child-Villiers, on 14 July 1936.2 He died on 4 September 1975 at age 73.2
     Lt.-Col. David Francis Brand, 5th Viscount Hampden of Glynde was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Hertfordshire Regiment.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Deputy Assistant Adjutant & Quartermaster-General in the service of the Madagascar.2 He succeeded to the title of 5th Viscount Hampden of Glynde, co. Sussex [U.K., 1884] on 17 October 1965.1
