He married, secondly, Anne Worthington-Evans, daughter of Sir William Shirley Worthington-Evans, 2nd Bt., in 1967. He married, thirdly, Suzanne Stead, daughter of James Stead, on 18 November 1981.¹ He died in 1986.
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Jeffreys, of Burkham, co. Southampton [U.K., 1952] on 19 December 1960.² He retired from the military in 1961, with the rank of Major, late of the Grenadier Guards.¹

     William Joseph Petre, 13th Baron Petre was born on 26 February 1847. He was the son of William Bernard Petre, 12th Baron Petre and Mary Theresa Clifford. He died on 8 May 1893 at age 46.
     He succeeded to the title of 13th Baron Petre, of Writtle, co. Essex [E., 1603] on 4 July 1884. In holy orders of the Church of Rome, and Domestic Prelate to the court of the Vatican.

     Bernard Henry Philip Petre, 14th Baron Petre was born on 31 May 1858. He was the son of William Bernard Petre, 12th Baron Petre and Mary Theresa Clifford. He married Etheldreda Mary Audrey Clark, daughter of Reverend William Robinson Clark and Elizabeth Jane Higgins, on 6 June 1899 at London, England. He died on 16 June 1908 at age 50 at Thorndon, Suffolk, England.
     He succeeded to the title of 14th Baron Petre, of Writtle, co. Essex [E., 1603] on 8 May 1893.
