     Sir William D'Oyly, 1st Bt. was the son of William D'Oyly and Elizabeth Stocks.2 He married Margaret Randall, daughter of Katherine (?), in 1637.1 He died in November 1677.1
     Sir William D'Oyly, 1st Bt. was invested as a Knight in 1641.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Norfolk between 1654 and 1659.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yarmouth between 1660 and 1677.1 He was created 1st Baronet D'Oyly, of Shottisham, Norfolk [England] on 29 July 1663.1 He lived at Shottisham, Norfolk, England.1

     Sir William D'Oyly, 2nd Bt. was invested as a Knight in 1664.1 He held the office of Teller of the Exchequer between 1666 and 1677.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet D'Oyly, of Shottisham, Norfolk [E., 1663] in November 1677.1
