Sir Philip Harvey du Cros, 2nd Bt. was born on 19 June 1898.1 He was the son of Sir Arthur Philip du Cros, 1st Bt, and Maude Gooding.2 He married, firstly, Maltilde Dita Mallet, daughter of Sir Claude Coventry Mallet, on 27 February 1922.1 He and Maltilde Dita Mallet were divorced in 1950.1 He married, secondly, Rosemary Theresa Rees, daughter of Sir John David Rees, 1st Bt., on 3 November 1950.1 He died on 11 October 1975 at age 77.1
