     Leonard Dobbin Gamble was the son of John Gamble and Sarah Dobbin.1 He married Henrietta Adelaide Deacon, daughter of John Gillespie Deacon and Elizabeth Dobbin, on 6 September 1893.1 He died on 23 August 1924.1
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1 He graduated with a Master of Surgery (C.M.)1 He lived at Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, WalesG.1 He had three sons.1

     He was Auditor of the Local Government Board in 1882.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.1 He lived at Ballynaguarde, County Limerick, IrelandG.1 He lived at Blackwater, County Limerick, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for County Limerick.1
