Margaret Callander was the daughter of J. Callander.2 She married Colonel David Cuninghame, son of John Cuninghame and Jean Weir, on 24 January 1718.1 She died on 27 September 1732.1

Lt.-Gen. Rt. Hon. Robert Cuninghame was born on 18 April 1726.1 He is the son of Colonel David Cuninghame and Margaret Callander.2 He married Elizabeth Cairnes on 29 May 1754.1 He died on 6 August 1801 at age 75, without issue. In accordance with the special remainder mentioned above the title devolved on his wife's nephew WARNER WILLIAM WESTENRA, who s as 2nd Baron Rossmore (see BURKE'S Peerage). The 1st Lord Rossmore's Wicklow estates passed to his widow.1
