     Peter (Pierre) Montfort was Lieut Balthassard's Regiment of -93 Drags 1690.1 Luneburg and Zell.1 Duke of Brunswick.1 Served in Army of William of Orange.1 He was and afterwards in Marquis de Miremont's Regiment of Drags in Piedmont and Flanders.1 He was Ensign Colonel Isaac de la Meloniere's Regiment of Foot.1 Moydow.1 He lived Bawn.1 And formerly of Montpellier.1 Page to Georg Wilhelm.1 France.1 In 1698 settled in Ireland.1 In November 1726 co Longford (leased with 531 acres from 27th ).1 In 1737 mem Gd Jury County Longford.1

     Henry Montfort was born, mea 1737, Frances, dau of James - Bradish, of Church Clara, County Kilkenny, in 1709.3 He is the son of Peter (Pierre) Montfort and Eleanor Archer.2 He died on 26 March 1776,.3
