Colonel Norman Eustace was born on 27 May 1901.1 He is the son of Colonel Edward Eustace and Mary Adelaide Rawlins.1
Colonel Norman Eustace was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the North-West Frontier in 1921.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1944.1 He retired from the military in 1948, with the rank of Colonel, late of the 6th Ghurka Rifles.1
