     Edward Burton was the son of Major Sir Charles Burton, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Catherine Cuffe.2 He married Bridget Anne Eustace, daughter of Hardy Eustace and Bridget Anne Browne.1 He married Bridget Longfield Eustace, daughter of Major Hardy Eustace and Susanna Bernard.3 He died on 24 December 1853, without issue.1 He was also reported to have died on 19 December 1853.3
