     William Duckett was born on 3 January 1796.1 He was the son of William Duckett and Elizabeth Coates.2 He married Harriet Isabella Anne Gordon, daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Edward Gordon, on 18 January 1843.1 He died on 10 January 1868 at age 72.1
     William Duckett held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1825.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Carlow.1 He lived at Russellstown Park, County Carlow, Ireland.1
