     Dorothy Jeanette Dickie is the daughter of Captain Robert Dickie.1 She married, firstly, Captain Douglas Frederick Harold FitzMaurice, son of Douglas Commerel Menzies FitzMaurice and Esther Davies, on 17 February 1916.1 She married, secondly, Commander Eric Templer Wiggins on 27 September 1939.1
      From 17 February 1916, her married name became FitzMaurice. From 27 September 1939, her married name became Wiggins.

     Cecil O'Bryen FitzMaurice, 8th Earl of Orkney was born on 3 July 1919.1 He was the son of Captain Douglas Frederick Harold FitzMaurice and Dorothy Jeanette Dickie.2 He married Rose Katherine Durk Silley, daughter of Joseph William Durk Silley and Elsie Eliza Sabin, on 27 November 1953.1 He died on 5 February 1998 at age 78.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the service of the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He fought in the Korean War.1 He succeeded to the title of 8th Viscount Kirkwall [S., 1696] on 21 August 1951.2 He succeeded to the title of 8th Earl of Orkney [S., 1696] on 21 August 1951.2 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baron Dechmont [S., 1696] on 21 August 1951.2

     Rose Katherine Durk Silley was born on 30 March 1914.2 She was the daughter of Joseph William Durk Silley and Elsie Eliza Sabin.1,2 She was baptised on 3 June 1914 at St. Mary, Brixham, Devon, England.2 She married Cecil O'Bryen FitzMaurice, 8th Earl of Orkney, son of Captain Douglas Frederick Harold FitzMaurice and Dorothy Jeanette Dickie, on 27 November 1953.1 She died on 27 July 1995 at age 81.1
      From 27 November 1953, her married name became FitzMaurice. As a result of her marriage, Rose Katherine Durk Silley was styled as Countess of Orkney on 27 November 1953.
