     Louis de Rottenburgh Fitzgerald was born on 16 January 1867.1 He was the son of Desmond John Edmund FitzGerald, 26th Knight of Glin and Isabella Lloyd Apjohn.2 He died circa 1924.1
     Louis de Rottenburgh Fitzgerald was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Irish Fusiliers.1 He emigrated to South Africa.1
