     Pedro de Castilla is the son of Diego de Castilla y Sandoval and Isabel de Salazar.1 He married Beatriz de Fonseca y Ulloa, daughter of Juan Alfonso Fonseca de Ulloa.1
     Pedro de Castilla also went by the nick-name of Pedro 'el Viejo'.1
