     He gained the rank of Major in the 108th Foot.1

Edmund Rupert Drummond, son of James David Drummond, 8th Viscount Strathallan and Margaret Smythe, on 11 May 1910.1 She died on 15 April 1978 at age 90.1
     Her married name became Drummond. She was with the Women's Royal Naval Service.1
